The Twin Eagles TEPIJ36 insulating jacket surrounds a compatible 36-inch TEPG pellet grill and smoker when the appliance is installed in an outdoor island made with combustible materials. Its all-stainless-steel enclosure is built around the taller body and installation requirements of the Twin Eagles pellet grill.
The TEPIJ36 must be included in the island plan before fabrication begins. Its opening differs from both the pellet grill’s standard cutout and the opening used for the TEIJ36 gas-grill jacket. Coordinate the jacket drawing with the pellet grill manual so the hopper, controls, electrical connection, ventilation, and service areas remain accessible.
No. The TEPIJ36 is designed for the Twin Eagles 36" pellet grill and smoker. The TEIJ36 is a different jacket made for compatible 36" Twin Eagles gas grills. Their required cabinet openings are not the same.
Twin Eagles identifies the TEPIJ36 as its 36" pellet grill and smoker insulating jacket.
No. The outdoor island must still meet the pellet grill manufacturer’s requirements for ventilation, electrical access, structural support, clearances, and future service access.
Plan the island from the current TEPIJ36 drawing and the applicable TEPG36 grill instructions. Confirm the finished countertop, structural support, rear utility route, island ventilation, hopper access, control-panel clearance, and future service access before fabrication. Electrical work and installation must comply with the appliance instructions and applicable codes.
Clean exposed stainless-steel surfaces with a soft cloth and products approved for outdoor stainless-steel appliances. Avoid steel wool, abrasive pads, and chlorine-based cleaners.
