What is the ordering process?

LA Custom Grill Islands is customer driven, therefore, we focus on bringing our showroom to you by having a salesperson come to your home. We look at your space and decor to help you design an island that meets your needs. Then, we provide you with a free, no obligation quote. Next, we CUSTOM build your island at our shop and deliver, making any finishing touches, like install the stainless steel grill, at your home. From start to finish, the ordering process can take from one (1) to four (4) weeks, depending on your design.

Do I have to pay a premium for a custom designed grill island?

Not at LA Custom Grill Islands. Since every job is custom, we don't have a showroom, which means our overhead is lower than our competitors online or at home improvement stores. Our pricing is 20 - 40% less so you often end up paying less for a custom designed grill island than you would for a pre-fabricated one that still needs you to install the accessories.

Does LA Custom Grill Islands sell unfinished island?

Yes, we can custom build an unfinished Island and deliver it locally to any Do-It-Yourselfer (DIY) to complete. For out of state customers, we will crate it and ship it nationally (quotes available). Plus, our DIY customers can take full advantage of our pass-through pricing, saving them $100's - $1000's. And, we will provide you with the necessary information to assist you in the completion of your island, so that it has a professional finish.

What are your grill islands made of?

Our high-quality islands are made with galvanized steel studs to prevent rusting and compressed concrete board to make them very durable but reduce the weight load. We also finish them using ceramic, stone tile, or other materials based on your personal design.

What are my choices of finishes?

The wonderful part about having a custom grill island is that you can select different finishes to accent your current décor. Choose from stucco siding or stone siding and ceramic/porcelain tile or marble tile in order to make your custom grill island unique.

What are some of the accessories I can order?

Accessories include refrigerators, sinks, stainless steel grills, drawers, ice chests, trash compartments, eating countertops, access doors, paper towel dispensers, and more.

Will you do all the electrical, plumbing and gas work on the island?

Other companies deliver their islands with the grill and other accessories still in the box but we deliver the island completely finished and ready for an electrician or plumber to hook up to the property's lines.
