The Vintage Grills VAD30 access door is designed for outdoor kitchens where a standard narrow door feels limiting, but a full-width opening is not necessary. It offers a balanced solution for accessing storage compartments, trash pull-outs, or utility areas while keeping the island looking clean and intentional. In everyday use, the wider opening makes it easier to reach items without crouching or working around tight clearances.
Constructed from 304 stainless steel, the door is built to handle outdoor exposure and maintain its appearance over time. The flush-mount design allows it to sit neatly against stone or finished cabinetry, and soft-close hinges add a controlled, quiet feel when opening and closing. A reversible door orientation gives you flexibility during installation, which is helpful when cabinet layouts vary from one build to the next.
This door works well for shared storage compartments or utility access where a standard narrow door feels restrictive. Confirm framing depth and cutout sizing before installation so the flange can sit flat against the finished surface.
