The Fire Magic 3176-52 insulating liner provides the manufacturer-specified enclosure for installing an E660i or A660i built-in grill within an outdoor kitchen made from combustible materials. The pre-assembled liner surrounds the grill chassis while its hangers transfer the load to a non-combustible countertop.

The 3176-52 hangs from the countertop rather than resting on a shelf beneath the appliance. This leaves the lower portion of the enclosure available for properly planned utilities and access while maintaining the liner placement specified by Fire Magic.
A non-combustible countertop is still required. The liner also does not replace the ventilation, drainage, gas-supply, electrical-access, or clearance requirements established for the installed appliance.
No. Fire Magic's current installation manual also assigns the 3176-52 to its 5600, 5660, and 4600 outdoor cooking models. Confirm the complete appliance model and its current installation instructions before ordering for one of these additional applications.
No. The larger E790i and A790i grills use Fire Magic insulating liner 3186-52. The two liners have different cabinet-opening requirements.
Additional bottom support is not required. However, Fire Magic permits the opening to be framed with side walls, a rear wall, and a base when the island design calls for more structural support.
No. The insulating liner is the only included product. The grill, countertop, enclosure, utility connections, and installation materials are purchased separately.
Do not block the ventilation ports located at the front and rear of the liner. The surrounding enclosure must provide openings for drainage, replacement air, and cross-ventilation wherever gas connections, the appliance, or a propane cylinder could expose a storage area to leaking gas.
The 26" front-to-back opening includes any tile, stone, or other substrate installed behind the liner flanges. If the countertop projects beyond the front wall, relieve the overhang across the flange area so the liner can sit flush against the finished enclosure face.
The liner includes knockouts for gas and electrical routing. Follow the manual for the exact appliance being installed, and do not allow the appliance hanger to contact the countertop or any combustible surface.
Freight Delivery Details
Freight delivery is required when packages exceed the limits of small parcel carriers (i.e. FedEx, UPS, and USPS etc.), either by size and/or weight of 150 lbs or more. All such packages will be shipped via a freight truck carrier.
