The American Outdoor Grill (AOG) 20-30-SSD adds a double-door access opening to an outdoor kitchen island. Its double-wall stainless steel doors and tubular stainless steel handles coordinate with other AOG outdoor kitchen components. Both doors open to provide access to the space behind the island face.
A double-door opening gives you a wider area to reach than a single access door. Before installation, check that both doors can swing open without hitting nearby walls, appliances, or other island features.
Is this the same door as AOG model 20-30-SD?No. The 20-30-SSD has tubular stainless steel handles and requires a 21" H × 30" W cutout. The 20-30-SD is a different model with a different cutout. Check the model number before replacing an existing door.
Can I use this door for propane cylinder storage?Do not select this solid door for that purpose. AOG's installation instructions require a louvered door model when the enclosure is used for propane cylinder storage. The complete enclosure must also meet the grill's ventilation requirements and applicable codes.
Does the door include storage shelves? No shelves are specified for this access door. The usable space behind it depends on how your island is built and what equipment is installed inside.
Use the cutout specified for model 20-30-SSD in AOG's installation guide. AOG calls for installation by a qualified professional service technician. Its guide lists a two-year limited warranty for SSD-series doors with stainless steel tubular handles; review the written warranty for coverage and conditions.
